Breathe in the fresh country air and escape to the historic Yackandandah Hotel, located on the north-western corner of High Street and Williams Street.

A long and rich history in Yackandandah. Believed to be originally built in 1868 as a bar for the locals and quickly becoming a popular hang-out spot. The “Bottom Pub”, as it lovingly known, was built to serve the local gold mining population.

Beyond the hotel, the main road becomes Isaacs Avenue. It was named after Sir Isaac Isaacs, a local boy who was the country's first Australian-born Governor-General.
