Yackandandah is nestled in the foothills of Stanley State Forest, steeped in a legacy of gold. It is one of Australia's prettiest villages in high country Victoria and is classified by the National Trust for its historic value.

Known locally as the 'Bottom Pub', with a real country feel, old world charm and character this pub is well supported by locals, mountain bike enthusiasts and tourists alike.

 

In late 2019 the pub was purchased by a new owner, Peter. Pete has managed all types of Pub, Clubs & Motels in his 40 year hospitality background and is excited by the challenge that a small country pub offers. We are now busy in the midst of renovating this old beauty to its former glory and have started with a makeover of the upstairs accommodation and look forward to all 7 rooms welcoming their new guests with a fresh outlook and stylish charm.

With a main bar, dining room, large sunny beer garden and tables out front - there’s no better place in this beautiful country, for some alfresco dining.
